When the Well Runs Dry….

This year I bought a metal Sigg bottle on sale; I fill it up before every snow, surf, sport, and travel trip. I made a pledge to avoid bottled water as much as possible. Bottled water puts people’s trust in corporations, not in their tap; it leads to corporate control of a life necessity; it pumps massive amounts of water from springs; and it decimates ecosystems, environments, and even dries community wells. The empty bottles make their way into lakes, oceans, and the surf. Representing the WU, Barnstead NH recently exercised their rights by banning mega water corporation USA Springs from pumping their water. Let’s follow suit: Drink free or die.
