Once you get hooked up with discounts, it is hard to revert and pay full price. Hence, I purchased another "old new" board to save some cash. I have never really rode a Nitro before, but the 160 cm '08 Supramodel fit the bill. It's length and width provide more float and stability for bigger mountain riding, and its light weight makes it responsive off kickers. Cons are jibbing and buttering, but I have other boards for that - this is Jackson afterall. I can attest this is the fastest board I have ever ridden. I think I lost sight of the benefits of riding a larger, wider board during the jib years at Loon. I now fully endorse Nitro snowboards; my new stick is sick.
Speaking of sick, I have been mucked up with a nasty flu for the last few days (severe fever and possible hallucinations). Meanwhile, over a foot of fresh has fallen - go figure! Looking forward to getting out there again, hopefully tomorrow! I also ride with a helmet now; I am getting too old for concussions. Plus, I ride the trees alone quite often; it is good to play it safe.

Old boards are money! I destroyed a demo supra model on rock snakes at kirkwood three seasons ago. Too stiff for me. However, I bought a used demo Nitro T1 the next season. Super sick! I too am a fan.
Get better buddy and go Fishin'!
